About Fast Eddy's
In 1986 Ed (Fast Eddy) Maurin started cooking on the competition BBQ circuit. As a fireman, welder and fabricator it only made sense that Eddy built his first smoker. After winning a couple of events Fast Eddy was hooked.
In 1990 Eddy was introduced to pellet fired BBQ grills. Fascinated by the ease of use and consistency of the finished product Eddy invented the first true pellet fired smoker. With this smoker Eddy was consistently winning BBQ events and being asked to make smokers by other cooks. So, in 1994 Eddy began manufacturing the Fast Eddy line of BBQ pits.
In 2000 Eddy developed the first rotating rack pellet fired smoker. Needing a manufacturing partner Eddy partnered up with Cookshack, Inc. of Ponca City, OK which today manufactures the Fast Eddy line of cookers used by competition cooks, restaurants and caterers.
After being asked over and over to develop a cooker for the patio Eddy went to work to develop a high tech grilling, smoking and BBQ unit. The Pellet Cooker is result of that project. A Pellet Fired Cooker that cooks between 170 and 600 degrees. With both direct cooking over the fire and offset cooking to allow slow smoking the Pellet Cooker is the perfect outdoor cooker
