Fast Eddy’s™ by Cookshack Pellet Cookers Making Headlines

Dara Marlar  •  Cookshack Updates, Customer Testimonials  •

In March, Fast Eddy and the pellet cookers were featured in the Kansas City Star.

The article not only highlights Fast Eddy’s knowledge of competition cooking but shows how his love of fire (being a former firefighter) helped him create the patent we use today on all of our Fast Eddy’s™ by Cookshack pellet smokers and the pellet grills.

Fast Eddy has been a partner with Cookshack since 2003 when we started manufacturing his line of pellet fired smokers. We later used his patent to create our line of Charbroilers and our newest additions to the Fast Eddy’s family are the pellet grills. He also teaches two cooking classes each year. This year’s cooking classes will be held July 13-14 and December 4-5. If you would like to meet Eddy and participate in this class, email Christa at

All of the Fast Eddy’s™ by Cookshack smokers use Eddy’s pellet fed technology and auger systems to create real wood flavor without all the hassle of tending to a fire or burning logs. These units have the perfect “set it and forget it” technology we all love. While the pellet line of smokers was originally introduced to help with the competition circuit of cooking, we also sell some of them for commercial use as well. With NSF, ETL and Warnock Hershey listings the Charbroilers, FEC120, FEC240, FEC300, FEC500 and FEC750 can be used in any commercial setting.
